Ellie Mantis is the Founder & Creative Director of Ella Bartlow. A native of New York City, she spent her childhood in New Orleans and Europe, primarily in her parents' beloved homeland of Greece.

After graduating from Tulane University in Mechanical Engineering, she obtained her Masters in Shipping, Trade and Finance from Bayes Business School in London, then moved to Athens, Greece where she embarked on an entrepreneurial venture, becoming an exclusive importer, distributor and pioneer of niche, luxury beauty brands and high-end fashion jewelry.

Her flagship beauty & lifestyle boutique, Heaven on Earth, soon became a favorite amongst fashion-forward locals, international travelers, celebrities, and journalists alike, and was synonymous with a carefully curated haute product selection. Ellie would travel regularly to Paris, London and New York on buying trips, where she sourced top fashion jewelry brands exclusively sold in Greece at Heaven on Earth. After the acquisition of her company by a multi-national corporation, she decided to use her extensive knowledge in the luxury fashion jewelry industry and her bold aesthetic, to create her own jewelry line.

Drawing inspiration from the vibrant colors, costumes, gowns and shimmering jewels of the New Orleans Mardi Gras parades and balls, as well as Europe’s jet-set glamour, she created, Ella Bartlow, a brand of statement pieces designed to be worn by the discerning woman for every occasion.

Her motto is to be bold, to be glamorous, because life is too short to be anything less than absolutely fabulous!
